About Med Park Credit Union

Board of Directors
One of the main characteristics that distinguish credit unions from other financial institutions begins with our Board of Directors, who are all volunteers. These individuals serve the credit union without compensation and devote countless hours to the welfare of our Credit Union.

Some of the duties of the Board include long-range planning; budget decisions and consideration of new programs; policy review. Their position requires a dedication to protect the best interest of our Credit Union.

We are fortunate to have the following seven dedicated individuals serving on our Board of Directors:

Supervisory Committee
The Supervisory Committee monitors the Credit Union's operation and procedures in an oversight capacity on behalf of the members. These Committee members are responsible for initiating audits of the Credit Union records, conducting annual member account verifications and proving an ongoing review of closed accounts.

These volunteers who make up our Supervisory Committee include:

Credit Committee
The Credit Committee monitors loans that are approved and denied by the Credit Union. Any loan not acted upon by the Credit Union Manager will be turned over to the Credit Committee for their consideration.

Cheryl Malm, CEO
I have been employed in the credit union industry since 1989 and appreciate the values and standards that serve as a foundation for credit unions. I have been with Med Park Credit Union since 1997. I enjoy working with our members, volunteers and staff each and every day. If at any time you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me directly.

Michelle Larson:
I was born and raised here in Grand Forks. I have 15 years of previous banking experience prior to my start here at Med Park in September of '07. I look forward to helping the members here at Med Park, both the familiar and new faces that bank with us.

Kristi Ross:
I have lived and worked in Grand Forks all my life. I have been a part of Med Park Credit Union since April of 2008. I look forward to helping our members with any of their financial needs.

Cindy Grohs:
I was born and raised in Grand Forks. I have over 20 years of retail experience. I started in Med Park in November 2009. I'm enjoying the new experience, meeting the members and learning the new faces.

Kelly Roos:
Howdy, I'm Kelly and I sit in the first window. I'm an Aquarian and I love to sing along with the radio. I favor the cherry suckers so you'll probably not find them in my candy jar very often. Stop by my window anytime for your banking enjoyment.
