Mission
Statement
The Med Park Credit Union exists as a stable financial organization.
It provides members services that will encourage them to accumulate
savings, provide them a source of credit and to help educate them that
they can attain their optimal level of financial security and independence.
Who Owns
Med Park Credit Union?
The credit union is owned by its members. Although Med Park Credit Union
is within Altru Hospital, it is not owned by Altru Health System.
Who Runs
Med Park Credit Union?
Each year in the spring at our annual meeting, our members elect people
to serve on the credit union board and committees. Each member is treated
equally as each member gets a vote to cast. Members are elected to the
Board of Directors, Credit Committee and Supervisory Committee. At our
annual meeting, the members discuss and vote on issues, review the previous
years financials and recommend action for the future.
Are Your
Deposits Insured?
Yes, each deposit is insured up to $250,000 by the Administrator of
the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA).
How Can
I Become a Member of Med Park Credit Union?
Med Park Credit Union membership is limited to all doctors, medical
staff, technicians, medical or nursing students, and all other individuals
who work in the medical field in Grand Forks County, North Dakota and
Polk County, Minnesota or who are paid by medical providers located
in Grand Forks County, North Dakota and Polk County, Minnesota and members
of their immediate family or household.
Simply stop by the
credit union and sign a membership card and invest in one share for
$25.00 that is deposited into your savings account.
